Low & Childers is not only a unique undertaking, but was organized as, and continues to be, a specialty law firm emphasizing insurance, corporate and regulatory representation, as well as government relations and lobbying.

J. Michael Low and S. David Childers, both former Directors of the Arizona Department of Insurance (Mr. Low 1980 - 1984, and Mr. Childers 1984 - 1987), bring a unique perspective to the needs of the insurance industry in addressing issues before the Arizona Department of Insurance, other state insurance departments, and the Arizona Legislature.

Prior to organizing the law firm of Low & Childers Mr. Low was a Partner in the Phoenix law firm of Jones, Skelton & Hochuli for a period of five years.  Mr. Childers was a partner with the law firm of Squire, Sanders & Dempsey.  He was previously a shareholder in the Phoenix firm of Storey & Ross in 1987, which later merged with Squire, Sanders & Dempsey.

Both Mr. Low and Mr. Childers are widely recognized in their field, have appeared as speakers on insurance matters, and each has been retained as an insurance law expert in complex insurance litigation.
